The Pit and the Pendulum, is very difficult to understand and a story unpleasant. This story had complex vocabulary but we can learn a lot. Yolanda and Chaima.
The book is a person who is thrown into a dungeon. The Inquisition is that it contains. And that person is imprisoned in the dungeon how bad it never saw the light passes the first few days, until they give a jug with water and that water had something that gives you sleep, then waking up in a table is bound to can`t move and just above it is a kind of pendulum that as we approach realizes that there is a pendulum if not a kind of knife that as the day goes by it goes down little by bit. When they pass the days as the blade is almost to cut his chest but there rats in the dungeon had pounced on the motionless body which leads to cut off the ropes that held him and I am free because rats and also to Toledo French entered and saved.
